Vote
AgTrust
for
Board of Directors
Region 10
I’m Linda Brown, incumbent AgTrust Director for Eastern New Mexico, and I’d like to humbly ask for your vote in the impending election.
I’m honored to be nominated and excited for the chance to keep working for you. As a Director, I represent you, the stockholder, and it’s my sincere hope that I’ve earned your confidence and trust.
If re-elected to the Board, I will work to see that AgTrust continues to innovate, grow, and bring enhanced value to its stockholders; provide accessible, local, personal and individualized service; and stand with you through the inevitable ups and downs.
AgTrust has been over 100 years in the making, with the strategies and goals of its precursors culminating in, what I believe to be, the best association yet.
Dear Valued AgTrust Stockholder,
I’m a full-time farmer/rancher, who grew up working with my parents—raising peanuts, milo, wheat, and cattle. As a teenager, I knew I wanted to pursue agriculture, and in 1984, I became an Association borrower/stockholder in my own right, with an operating loan to buy stocker cattle.
In 1987, I married Wesley Brown, another lifelong ag producer, and we combined our individual operations a few years later.
We have a commercial Angus and Angus/WagyuX cow/calf operation and raise wheat and haygrazer in Roosevelt and Guadalupe counties. Our three kids grew up as our main help, and apparently didn’t tire of the lifestyle, as they are all now making their own way in agriculture, relying on AgTrust to help them with operating capital and land loans.
I served as Board Chairman of Ag New Mexico through the initiation, planning, and subsequent merger with Lone Star. The benefit to the stockholders of both associations was clear and significant. I saw potential for an association that would efficiently provide consistent and competitive services to its members, individualized, and delivered personally and close to home.
I’m pleased to have helped bring that potential into reality with the creation of AgTrust.
From the Board structure and composition to that of Management and staff; from branch office locations to opportunities for meaningful and fulfilling employment; from the products and services offered its borrowers to an incredible patronage program; AgTrust was intelligently optimized by integrating the best aspects of its predecessor associations— purposely and strategically designed—every element intentionally chosen to establish AgTrust as a leader in Farm Credit.
You can depend on me to:
be consistent in my beliefs and my actions
always be accessible and receptive to you, the stockholder
base my decisions on what’s best for AgTrust’s stockholders
dedicate the time and effort needed to be an effective director and a good steward of your trust
stay informed of issues affecting AgTrust and its shareholders
hold myself & others to the highest standards of ethics & performance
I am committed to the heritage and future of agriculture and the way of life it provides--and I believe in AgTrust's ever-increasing value as a consistent and dependable financial partner.
I work for you, the stockholder, and welcome any opportunity to visit with you about Ag Trust.
May God bless you.
Sincerely,
Linda Miller Brown
